Complaint Procedure:
To make a complaint that archived content is inaccurate, contact the editor-in-chief in writing by letter or e-mail with the following information:
- Name, telephone number and e-mail address
- The URL address of the content in question
- The specific content that is inaccurate and an explanation of how the information is inaccurate
In the case of content published more than one year ago, the complainant must provide reasonable proof to the editor that the content in question is no longer accurate. For example, a copy of expungement papers should be provided in case any criminal charges are dropped. If published more than a year ago, contested quotes are highly unlikely to be amended without written or audio documentation.
If the contested content was published less than a year ago, normal internal procedures for checking the material’s accuracy will apply and you may be asked to provide written documentation.
The request will be reviewed and checked by the editor and if the editor determines it to be valid, an update or correction will be posted.

In the October 6-10 issue on page 10 under the article “Nationwide student walkout” by Lauryn Seering there was some misinformation printed that I want to be sure is corrected. The incorrect information is as follows: “Every year, the amount of aid a student receives decreases even as the reciprocity between Minnesota and Wisconsin ends”. This is incorrect. The reciprocity between the two states has not ended. It has changed slightly in that students from WI who go to college in MN will have to pay the difference between WI tuition and MN tuition, that amount will no longer be paid by the WI government. As the Executive Director for Enrollment Services I want to be sure that accurate information is shared with our students, your readers. Thanks for your correction to this misinformation. Where are all the issues predating 2010? All of these should be available for view online. Ever since the merge from Stoutonia.com to stoutoina-online.com these have not been accessible. Please provide an explanation for this.
